FCR Liner Method (for Different Diameters) [FCR Method Association]

Due to the expansion of single-track lines to double-track lines and the construction of roads parallel to the railway, numerous railway drainage systems (such as inverted siphons and inverted pipes) with different diameters on the left and right sides have been installed. In conventional methods, the lining was adjusted to fit the smaller diameter, and mortar was injected into the gaps to complete the work. FCR Liner Method (Standard Type) [FCR Method Association]

The FCR Method Association uses the FCR Liner Method (standard type) for repairs of drainage facilities (flumes, flaps, and troughs) based on the conditions of camera inspections. The development of a dedicated repair method for flumes has resolved issues associated with traditional repairs that directly utilized methods designed for sewer systems. SW liner method

Safer and faster! Renewing and strengthening Japan's underground with new technology.

The "SW Liner Method" is a pipe rehabilitation method that involves winding a rigid polyvinyl chloride strip in a spiral manner inside an existing pipe to create a new pipe, and filling the gap between the new and existing pipes with a filler material, thereby rehabilitating the pipe as a composite structure. Since it can be constructed without stopping the water supply (the water flowing through the pipeline), there is no need for water replacement work. The adhesive is automatically supplied simultaneously with the pipe manufacturing process. Construction is possible even under shared conditions! It has been developed to minimize work inside the pipe.

The method is a speedy and economical spiral-wound pipe rehabilitation technique. Since it can be constructed without stopping the flow in use, if repairs to the existing pipes are necessary based on prior investigations, the work can be carried out promptly without impacting local life. It has been developed to enable rehabilitation of large-diameter pipes with a diameter of 800mm or more, which often face many issues, without excavation and while allowing shared water to flow, as well as minimizing work inside the pipe. FCR Liner Method (Large Diameter Compatible) [FCR Method Association]

Repair of buried pipes with a diameter of 800 mm or more and bridge repairs.

The FCR liner method was aimed at drainage systems for railways (culverts, inverted siphons, and drainage ditches) up to Φ750, which account for 95% of such systems. However, there are some culverts and bridges on the Shinkansen and conventional lines with larger pipe diameters, and issues with these culverts and bridges could lead to major accidents.
